TRIPP, IIT Delhi in association with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, and Indian Road Congress (IRC) is organizing 15 days Certification Course on Road Safety and Road Safety Audit. This course provides an excellent opportunity for Engineers, Consultants, Practitioners, Researchers etc. to enhance knowledge, skills and certify themselves in the domain of Road Safety Engineering and Auditing. The certificate will be issued to those candidates on successfully attending the course, completion of field tasks, and written exam which will be conducted at the end of course. Examination/evaluation will be conducted for issuance of accreditation from IRC. The course will be offered in two sessions; 11 days online and 4 days in-person covering site visits for field experience. Schedule and venue details would be informed later to the registered candidates. Registration is limited to 30 participants on first-come-first serve basis.
Target Group: Highway Engineers; Road Safety Practitioners; Traffic Engineers; Transportation Planners and Students.
Minimum B.Tech/BE Civil Engineering with 5 years experience / M.Tech/ME in Transportation Engineering/Highway Engineering/Highway Safety/ Transportation Planning (professionals and students) - Proofs to be attached.
*(Professionals with other than Civil Engineering degree and working in road safety fields can also apply. However they will be given IIT Delhi certification for participation only)
The Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Programme (TRIPP), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India.
The faculty members associated with TRIPP have been involved in safety research over the past three decades. TRIPP, IIT Delhi has been designated as the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Safety Technology.
